Brooklyn's a state of mind, man. For the second season of the off-beat comedy Bored To Death, HBO turned to Exopolis for promotional ideas that could amp up their social media presence and get avid fans excited. No one is more protective of their brand than HBO, so concepts would need to be smart and on point – luckily, we do that.
No writer's block on our part, we delivered a cornucopia of ideas, including "The Worst Opening Paragraph to a Detective Novel" contest. The contest lived on HBO's Facebook page, calling on fans to do their worst. Show creator Johnathan Ames picked the best of the bad for the grand prize.
